After serving as a Capitol Police Officer, came to the Prince Edward County Sheriff's Office in 1976. He served as the Chief Deputy with the rank of captain starting in 1994. Serving as Sheriff since 2000, as the department has grown in man power and modernization with computers and changing law enforcement techniques and equipment. He is a valued administrator with the safety of the county and his deputies his primary goal. A fair an impartial man, he expects no less from the men that serve under his administration as Sheriff of Prince Edward County.
